When: September 27 - 29, 2019
2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Nu Chapter. In honor of this significant milestone, Nu Chapter is coordinating a gala event to take place on Saturday, September 28th in Berkeley, in addition to a number of other events throughout the weekend:
– Friday, September 27: Cal plays Arizona State at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm. We will host a complementary BBQ reception at the house for Tekes and their families starting three hours before kickoff. We also have a block of tickets reserved for Fraters at $35/ticket if desired.
– Saturday, September 28: Golf Tournament at Tilden Park, with tee times at 10am-12pm. The cost is $65 per player.
– Saturday, September 28: 100-Year Anniversary cocktail party and dinner at the University Club at Memorial Stadium, 6-9 pm. We are proud to have Jim Knowlton, the Cal Athletic Director, as our keynote speaker for this event. (please note this event is intended for Fraters only)
You can attend any or all of these as your schedule permits. We need RSVPs for football tickets, the golf event, and Saturday dinner. The anniversary dinner and football tailgate will be sponsored by Nu Chapter’s House Corporation, so please join in and enjoy the weekend with Fraters from the 50s through today.
